Iken Time Tracking and Time Recording software is designed for professionals who need to accurately record the time spent on professional activities in order to recharge both internal and external clients, monitor workload, and use the information to plan budgets/demonstrate value.

Time Tracking and Recording is particularly useful for organisations delivering shared or outsourced services, where it can be used to provide SLA audit and billing functionality.

Iken Time Recording software is already widely used by public and private sector clients to provide them with time tracking that is independent and works with all their existing software applications. A suite of management reports enables client billing, departmental cross charging, budget allocation and workload monitoring. The software also encourages personal time management and greater client care as professionals review the allocation of their time to different work, and set appropriate priorities.

With Iken Time Recording you can:

  • Start and stop watches to track the time spent working on emails and documents, or from the task list
  • Set off multiple stopwatches whilst you are engaged on activities such as research, telephone calls or meetings across different matters, and switch between these or start new stopwatches when interruptions occur
  • Retrospectively track time when you have been away from the office (for instance in meetings).

Iken Time Tracking and Recording software may be operated as a stand-alone application or fully integrated with Iken adaptive Case Management or Matter Management software for knowledge workers.
