Training

Iken training is a two way dialogue between you and us, that is set within your own context rather than ours. The objective is to transfer our skills to you in a supportive way that ensures that your daily work continues throughout the transition.

We advise that we come to meet your staff for a day in advance of implementation and talk to them about their current work, and what they hope to get out of Iken. This approach is invaluable in situations where some staff are a little uncertain about what to expect. It raises confidence, prepares the ground, and helps us to make sure they get what they need out of training. Also they will see the items they recognise when they start using Iken.

At training we will ask people to bring a few files that they are working on. The first step is to make sure they can continue to do their daily work in Iken as soon as training is ended.

We will work alongside your staff as they go live, to build confidence and also to help enter information and precedents into Iken. This is a period of consolidation and some supplementary one to one guidance that accommodates different levels of skill and confidence.

Once people are comfortable with their daily work we will revisit to deal with supplementary questions and make sure that people are using Iken to best effect.
